Welcome to all visitors

Crowborough Community Church is a group of people of all ages and different backgrounds. We love having visitors, so whether you are just visiting the web site, or are thinking of coming to one of our meetings, you are very welcome.

Sunday Morning Servicesg an d n small

We meet on Sunday mornings at Whitehill Infant School in Crowborough and our service starts at 10am. You will find directions and a map on our Find Us page. There is plenty of space for parking and level access to the building.  You will be met by one of our Welcome Team. If you have any questions about the meeting, either at the start or during it, they will be happy to help you. We start with about 35 minutes of worship which includes lively songs and people are welcome to pray out, read sections from the Bible or share an inspiring story or thought. 

Children are welcome and they often enjoy dancing and joining in the early part of our worship. At about 10.30 we run clubs for under 11s and young teens.  Your child would be very welcome and if you would like to join them until they settle that is fine. 

After the sung worship the meeting leader will give notices about events planned during the week or other information the church might be interested in. The speaker will then bring a thought provoking and relevant talk from the Bible. We often finish our meetings praying for anyone who wants to follow up what they have heard in the talk, or who is unwell. If you would like to be prayed for please let the meeting leader or one of the welcome team know, we would be thrilled to pray with you.

We finish the meeting with coffee and hope you will be able to stay and chat and get to know us better.

Mid Week Meetings

If you enjoyed being with us on Sunday mornng you may like to join one of our mid week Community Groups. These groups meet in people's homes and we aim to help each other apply Christian teaching to our lives and encourage and pray for one another. The groups meet on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings. 

Prayer Meetings

We believe that prayer is very important for a church and meet to pray regularly on Sunday evenings. If you would like to join us please email or phone the office for information.

 

Our Youth Group is for young people aged 11 and older.  We meet alternate Sunday evenings at 7pm.  Our meetings are packed with fun, friendship and spiritual truth as together we learn to take our place as a generation of young people who are committed to God.

 

Alpha is an internationally recognised course tackling what it means to be a Christian in the 21st Century.  Each evening starts with a two-course meal followed by a short talk, and then the chance for you to ask your questions.  Our motto is, "No question is too simple; no question is too challenging."  Alpha is offered free of charge.
